Jobseekers also have the option of subscribing to the site’s members-only services, via a one-time fee of $79, providing specialized tools designed to help jobseekers more effectively market themselves. Subscription services include the following: a resume critique by 1stResumes.com, a professional resume-writing service; a higher rank in employer resume searches; the ability to create job search agents and track job applications; exclusive access to the site’s “JobIntel” messages from employers and recruiters, imparting company-specific insight regarding resumes and cover letters; a career coaching session from a Certified Coaching Network professional career coach; and, discounts on affiliated services -- from resume and cover-letter writing, to additional coaching sessions, to aptitude tests and professional certifications -- provided through site’s alliances with some of nation’s top jobseeker service firms.
RetireeCareers.com estimates that approximately 1000 new job listings and about 100 new resume postings are added to its site on a daily basis. Current job opportunities posted on RetireeCareers.com include openings in a variety of categories at several blue-chip firms such as Bank One Corporation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Boston Scientific, Household International, Lockheed Martin, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, SBC Communications, and Sun Microsystems, among others. While RetireeCareers.com’s content is geared to the “50+” jobseeker, people of all ages are welcome to use the site’s services.
